Dear Parents,
We at Ogletown Baptist feel blessed to have the opportunity to minister to your child. Our purpose is to assist you in teaching your child to put their trust in God to the degree that their faith surpasses the present generation.
Our Purpose
• Plant seeds to lay a foundation of faith in boys and girls
• Teach boys and girls age - appropriate spiritual truths
• Love boys and girls of all backgrounds
• Attempt to reach boys and girls outside of our church
• Support and encourage the family and the child
• Provide boys and girls with fun, exciting, new and different challenges in the classroom learning environment
• Provide social stimulation for children outside the classroom
• Challenge boys and girls to utilize and put to work their faith
• Allow children to serve in at least one ministry project during the year
Opportunities for Children and Their Families
Sunday Mornings
Sunday School - Classes for all ages 1st through 5th grade. Join us as God's Word is presented in a fresh and exciting way at 9:00 or 10:30 a.m.
Children's Church - From September through December, during the 10:30 a.m. Worship Service, Children's Church is provided for 1st grade.
Wednesday Evenings
RA's "Royal Ambassadors" - For boys in grades 1 through 5 meet at 6:15 in the OEX Gym then from 6:30 - 7:30pm in room 207 "We are ambassadors for Christ" 2 Corinthians 5:20 This is an exciting and fun-filled club for boys to:
• Learn how the message of Christ is carried around the world
• Make exciting crafts
• Earn fun awards
• Discover the way of missions
Royal Ambassadors is led by Christian men and promotes Christian values!
GA's "Girls in Action" - "Teach a child how he should live, and he will remember it all his life" Proverbs 22:6 For girls in grades 1 through 5 6:30 - 7:30p.m.
• Learn what missionaries do and hear about people around the world
• Support missionaries through praying, giving and doing missions
• Be challenged and trained to share your faith
• Enjoy making mission action crafts
The 6th Grade "6ers" - This is a special program designed just for 6th graders. They learn Biblical principles that apply to the "tweeners" time of life.
Special Activities
• Parent's Night Out - Throughout the year, parents are invited to bring their children to church for a few hours of fun while they have an opportunity to enjoy time together as a couple. In December, we have a special Parent's Day Out while the children enjoy a Happy Birthday Jesus Party.
• Resurrection Egg Hunt - On the Saturday before Easter, preschoolers and their parents are invited to have a special time of fun to celebrate the Resurrection.
• Fall Festival - On October 31, preschoolers and their parents are invited to a Fall Festival. The children are encouraged to dress in appropriate costumes, play games, and enjoy lots of candy.

Boy Scouts -Help develop the men of tomorrow! Every Thursday night from 7:00 - 9:00p.m. This ministry is for boys who are at least 10 1/2 years old and have completed 4th grade.

Summer Activities
VBS - always an exciting adventure! Vacation Bible School is an awesome week of Bible study, music, crafts, missions and games!
"Thrillin' Chillin' Thursday - Hey kids - if you like chillin' with your friends and want to have a thrillin' time, then Thrillin' Chillin' Thursday is for you! We offer a variety of on and off campus activities such as skating, bowling and splash day! This is for children who have completed 1st through 5th grade.
Camps - Centri-Kid, 7th Grade Retreat
