Women's Missionary Union
Mission Statement - Women's Missionary Union (WMU) offers opportunities, as well as ministries, that enable every member of the church to learn about missions, become involved in missions, and live a missional lifestyle. WMU's six areas of mission's focus reflect a biblical understanding of missions.
The six focus areas are:
Pray for missions
Learn about missions
Support missions
Develop spiritually toward a mission's lifestyle
Engage in mission action and witnessing
Participate in the work of the church and denomination
Women on Mission - Ann Ford Group
Ladies meet every 3rd Tuesday of each month in room 212 OEX from 10:30 AM until Noon, followed by a fellowship lunch and a mission outreach project. At each meeting we have a study of missions in different areas of the world and a time of prayer for missionaries who are having a birthday
on that day. Child care will be arranged if needed.
Mission Offerings
The WMU help support the three major mission offerings of Ogletown Baptist Church, Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, State Mission Offering and Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.
We aid in publicity and encourage members to help spread the gospel around the world by praying, giving, and going.

Baptist Women's World Day of Prayer
WMU joins in a day of learning, praying and giving to strengthen our Baptist sisters around the world. This takes place on the 1st Monday in November, 9:30 AM until 12:00 noon. We will meet in OEX.

Ongoing Mission Projects
Throughout the year we work with different mission projects, usually one or two a month. Some projects are church wide and many are carried out by the Women on Mission group.
