All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, O Lord (Psalm 86:9)
Ogletown Baptist Church offers two styles of worship
services: Contemporary and Traditional - The Pastor's sermon is
the same for all worship.
Contemporary
Services (9:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.)
Lively praise music led by one of our three worship bands is one feature of the worship experience in the contemporary services. These services tend to be more relaxed and informal and the focus is always genuine and authentic worship before our loving God.
Traditional Service (8:30 a.m.)
Join the Ogletown family for vibrant worship in a classic style. Accompanied by organ, piano, and various instrumentalists, the superb Ogletown Adult Choir leads the congregation with traditional anthems, hymns, and worship songs. Elements of solemn worship, high praise, and congregational involvement are the hallmarks of this worship experience.
There is always a practical take-away from the pastor's messages in the worship at Ogletown. Ogletown seeks to connect worshippers with God through Jesus Christ, and through Biblical teaching, offer practical tools for successful living.
Dress for worship at Ogletown is up to you. People worship at Ogletown in laidback, casual, and formal business attire. Come as you like!
All three worship services
occur while sessions of Sunday School/Bible Study are going on elsewhere
in the church. Those attending the Traditional Service will attend Sunday
School or Bible Study classes either during the 9:45 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. hours; and,
those attending one of the Contemporary Services attend a Bible
Study or Sunday School class either during the previous 8:30 a.m. hour or during the hour they are not in the service.
