DEACON STRUCTURE

The deacon ministry at Ogletown is focused on meeting specific the needs of our church. Our members will vote on Sunday, May 18th in our Members Meeting to approve a reorganization of our deacon structure to shift from generalists to specialists. Nearly 20 men who meet the biblical qualifications of a deacon, commit to three-year terms of faithfully serving our church and supporting the vision and efforts of the Shepherding Team and staff.

DEACON NOMINATIONS

Members of Ogletown who meet the qualifications of a deacon as laid out in 1 Timothy 3 can be nominated for consideration as a prospective deacon. Nominees are vetted, interviewed by leadership, and voted on by our members. To nominate a deacon at any time, please complete the form below.

JOHN KACZOWKA

John and his wife, Jamie, have 4 adult children and 6 grandchildren. They have been members of Ogletown since 1989. John is a Guest Services volunteer and also serves in Kids Connection. John and Jamie are Community Group leaders and they attend the Verse by Verse Sunday Bible Study.

Zach and his wife Christine have four children - Judah, Grace, Joella, and Naomi and have been members since 2011. Zach has previously served in the deacon ministry and currently serves in Kids Connection. Zach and Christine attend the OnTrack Sunday Bible Study.


 
 

ALEX REVELL

Alex and Kaela have been attending Ogletown since 2019 and have a daughter named Clara. Alex serves on the chair setup team at Ogletown. Alex and Kaela attend the Gospel & Culture Sunday Bible Study and the Roland/Taylor Community Group.

 
 

JOHN STONKUS SR

John and his wife, Angela, have four adult children - Amanda, John, Alyssa, and their youngest Katie, who went to be with the Lord this past year. They have been members since 2001. John has previously served as a deacon on the operations team, and currently helps lead the International Student Ministry at Ogletown.
