Why livestream?

In the midst of our anticipation of re-opening our doors to gather together again on Sunday mornings, we recognize that if we simply stop hosting an online service, we will fail to serve the dozens of people from Ogletown and our community who are unable to be present in our building due to various risk factors and vulnerabilities. Our priority is that no one is left behind as we aim to re-gather and take steps toward re-establishing regular rhythms at Ogletown. That desire is made possible only through the introduction of a livestream service at Ogletown.

In our pursuit of making an online service sustainable, our investment in equipment and processes has also created a need for individuals to serve in areas of technology related to live-streaming our services.

What we need:

Prior to our rollout of our livestream services, we need to recruit and train willing individuals with a variety of experience levels. While having worked with technology used for livestream is a plus, some aspects of making it possible can easily be learned by almost any willing volunteer. We only ask that you commit to learning and being reliable on a rotating volunteer schedule.
