Pastor Deepak Reju is currently preaching through the Gospel of Luke in a series entitled “Hope of the World”. Luke, a Gentile, is responsible for writing this most complete Gospel as well as the book of Acts. Luke’s careful observation allows us to be certain about Jesus – he researched, interviewed, and then compiled this Gospel for the sake of our assurance that Jesus is the Son of God and the Hope of the World.

WAYWARD CHILDREN

To parent a wayward or unbelieving child is one of the most difficult trials a Christian can face. Yet even if this is your experience, there is hope and comfort to be found in God’s Word and God’s character. This 31-day devotional provides daily readings to offer you encouragement, biblical direction, and practical action steps. You yourself are the perfect Father’s child—let this devotional draw you to him, his wisdom, and his guidance every day.

PARENTING WITH WORDS OF GRACE

How you speak to your kids today will impact your relationship with them tomorrow.

As a parent, your words are powerful. What you say and how you say it has the potential to either invite your children into deeper relationship with you or push them away. What’s more, in a very real sense, your words represent―or misrepresent―God’s words to his children― meaning they have the power to shape how your children view their heavenly Father.

Offering practical guidance for grace-filled communication in the midst of the craziness of everyday life, this accessible guide will help you speak in ways that reflect the grace God has shown to you in the gospel.

CHILD PROOF

As a freedom-over-formula parenting book for parents of all ages, Child Proof provides biblical insight and encouragement for readers who want to parent by faith. As an experienced counselor of children and familiesJulie Lowe uses biblical Scripture and spiritual wisdom to teach parents how to know their children and specifically love them with the love of Jesus Christ.

Every family is unique, which is why Child Proof explores the need for parents to cultivate personal and intimate care for their children as modeled in God's individual, personal, and fatherly care to his children. This parenting book lays a foundation of parenting by faith and progresses by teaching Christian parents how they can know their own children well and parent accordingly. By discussing particular issues parents might have in family life, Lowe demonstrates how parenting formulas aren't the answer, and parenting with biblical wisdom is best for a proactive rather than reactive approach to raising children.

PARENTING

Sometimes parents wish there was a guaranteed formula for raising good kids―a certain list of rules to follow to ensure they’d have obedient children. But if moms and dads view their role through the lens of God’s grace, they will see that the gospel must first shape how they parent before they can effectively shape their children.

In the bestselling book Parenting, Paul David Tripp unfolds a more biblical perspective on parenting than merely adhering to a list of rules. He lays out 14 gospel-centered principles that will radically change the way parents think about what it means to raise up a child, informing everything they do as a parent. This edition includes a section of engaging study questions for every chapter, helping individuals and groups reflect on each topic in greater depth.

Taking God at his word

Is the Bible reliable, authoritative, or even necessary? With his characteristic wit and clarity, award-winning author Kevin DeYoung tackles these questions and more as he offers a comprehensive, easy-to-understand, and succinct introduction to a classic orthodox doctrine of Scripture. Offering a trustworthy resource that avoids complex terminology, DeYoung addresses tough questions about the reliability, authority, and readability of the Bible to show that God's Word is knowable, necessary, and sufficient.

For those full of skepticism or full of faith, with ignorance needing to be remedied or with knowledge eager to be sharpened, this winsome volume builds a compelling case for trusting, using, and relying on Scripture as the Word of God for all of life.

Can we trust the gospels?

The Gospels--Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John--tell the story of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ while he was on earth. But how do Christians know if they are true? What evidence is there that the events actually happened? This accessible introduction to the historical and theological reliability of the four Gospels, written by New Testament scholar Peter J. Williams, presents evidence from a variety of non-Christian sources, assesses how accurately the 4 accounts reflect the cultural context of their time, compares different accounts of crucial events, and considers how these texts were handed down throughout the centuries. Written for the skeptic, the scholar, and everyone in between, this book answers common objections raised against the historicity of the Gospels in order to foster trust in God's Word.
