We believe the local church should be the center of sending, shepherding, and supporting God’s people who serve in cross-cultural contexts.  Therefore, we will prioritize sending people to serve in mid or long-term capacities directly from our church family.

Mid-Term Sending refers to individuals who will spend six months to two years serving in a cross-cultural context.  Long-Term Sending refers to individuals who will serve in a cross-cultural context for 2+ years. For detailed information about our sending process, please click here.

The Blandeburgo Family: Philippines

The Blandeburgos (Joe, Elizabeth, Benjamin, Ellie, and Marie) are currently serving in the Southern Philippines where they send young people from America and the Philippines to share the gospel with the unreached and hard to reach. Their hope is to inspire, equip, and challenge them to use their lives to obey the Lord by playing the part He has for them in fulfilling the Great Commission.

JAMES EDINGER: Nairobi, Kenya

James serves as a Logistics Services Consultant (LSC) and supports the IMB's mission by serving field personnel in Kenya by facilitating services such as housing, transportation, travel, and freight, as well as assistance with governmental requirements related to serving in the country/countries of assignment.
