Thank you for your interest in membership at Ogletown! Prior to your membership interview, it is helpful for you to complete this form giving us some necessary information to prepare for our interview and for introducing you to our members. Please complete this form prior to your scheduled interview with one of our pastoral staff. All the information you share other than your testimony is confidential and will be handled by a member of our pastoral staff or Shepherding Team.

PROSPECTIVE MEMBER INFO & TESTIMONY

One of the most helpful things you can do as a Christian is write out your personal testimony. Sharing how you became a Christian is one of the best ways of witnessing. It is particularly helpful in presenting Jesus Christ to other members of the church, relatives and close friends, and those who don’t yet know the Lord.

The form below will help us work with you to organize information about your testimony, simply and clearly, in order to present it to the members of Ogletown. Here are some helpful things to remember when writing your testimony: Make it personal. Make it short. Keep Jesus central. Use Scripture. In it’s finished state, your story should complete the following statements: “Before I trusted Christ…”, “How I trusted Christ”, "Since I’ve trusted Christ”.

Your Personal Testimony

If you decide to pursue membership, the other members of Ogletown will vote to affirm your membership at a members meeting. The information you share below will only be shared with our members. It’s important to only include information you are comfortable sharing with our church members. After completion, you will be given final approval of the presentation of your testimony in its final format prior to being shared at a member's meeting. Below are a series of questions helping highlight elements to include in your testimony. Follow the guide and then use your answers to write out a 6-10 sentence testimony that can be presented to our congregation.
